I am working on a network design that is considering hubbing out of the UK. Can anyone tell me whether TEHO (tail end hop off) or off-net dialling is legal in the UK. I have received conflicting reports. Through hearsay, Mercury has told one curtomer that it is legal. I have read a magazine article that indicates lots of people are doing it. Yet Intel's man on the spot claims it's illegal and that he needs a permit to hook up any new equipment to the network. Any ideas as to how I can get a definitive ruling? Benny
