What does an MCI/Sprint personal 800 number offer over the AT&T Call*Me Card? The two services sure seem similar to me. Both seem to require an extra four digits to validate the caller. Both offer discounts. (AT&T does so separately through the Reach Out plans). Advantages of Call*Me Card o It doesn't require having to learn a completely new phone number. o There's no charge for the Call*Me card. o ??? Advantages of personal 800 number o It has the nebulous "prestige" of having an 800 number. o ??? So if you cannot get AT&T, you can't very well use the card. PAT]
