Does anyone out there rememebr a hit single from May, 1972, called "YOU ARE THE ONE" by The Sugar Bears. It was a Top Ten hit here in Buffalo. It appeared on the Big Tree Records label. The album was called "Presenting The Sugar Bears," and had illustrated bears on the cover. (Yes, the bears were based on the infamous Super Sugar Crisp Bear, who used to croon like Bing Crosby. Fortunately the lead vocalist on the album does not do likewise! The album was probably originally released as a series of cardboard records on the back of Super Sugar Crisp cereal, or was offered as a bonus for collecting box tops, or something...) Anyway, if anyone remembers anything, please do not hesistate to contact me via the net. Adopt, adapt, improve Bill Parmenter Esq.
