I just tried some test calls on my GTE Mobilenet cellphone in the SF area. My number is in the 415 area. I tried calling 389-xxxx, 415-389-xxxx and 1+415-389-xxxx. All three calls went thru without a glitch. This functionality coupled with least cost routing on LD calls makes GTE look even better than $ellularOne.
