From: William LeFebvre <phil@rice> I have seen many requests for termcap entries on this list recently, and many other messages that directly relate to terminals. There is a list called "Info-terms" that was designed for this purpose. At the very least, the people that send these requests should send copies to both lists. Ideally, they should send them only to "Info-terms". This would cut down on the Unix-Wizards traffic. William LeFebvre ARPANet and CSNet: phil@rice USENet: ...!lbl-csam!rice!phil

From: Doug Gwyn (VLD/VMB) <gwyn@brl-vld> How does someone on an Internet site get on the info-terms list?

From: William LeFebvre <phil@rice> Info-terms's home base is "mit-mc". You can send requests for addition to "Info-terms-request@mit-mc". As it says in the "List-of-Lists": ---------------------------------------- INFO-TERMS@MIT-MC Information on terminals. Message log/archives are kept on MIT-MC at: COMMON;TERMS MAIL Current section of archives COMMON;TERMS O2MAIL Next most recent section... COMMON;TERMS O1MAIL ... COMMON;TERMS 1 ...oldest section All requests to be added to or deleted from this list, problems, questions, etc., should be sent to INFO-TERMS-REQUEST@MIT-MC. Coordinator: Jonathan Alan Solomon <JSol@MIT-OZ> ---------------------------------------- When I sent the original message, I was unsure of the actual address. Now I am sure.
