Does anyone know of a source of networking protocol modules for such protocols as TCP/IP, ISO, XNS, and SNA that use the System V streams mechanism? The modules would have to available either in the public domain, or under license. Thanks for any help. -- Martin S. McKendry FileNet Corp {hplabs, trwrb}!felix!martin

Lachman Associates is currently putting together a reference port of TCP/IP under System V STREAMS which will be available in source form under license. Their phone number is 1-800-LAI-UNIX. Also, The Wollongong Group in Palo Alto, CA has a version of the TCP/IP suite available under STREAMS, but my belief is that they are not happy giving away source (I'm not sure about that you should probably call and ask). There is also a British company called Spyder Systems which has a version of TCP/IP under STREAMS. I don't know their address, but they talked at a TCP/IP conference in April which was arranged by Advanced Computing Environments in Cupertino, CA so I bet they would know where Spyder is. Their number is 408-996-2042. I don't know of any implementations of other protocols under STREAMS, although I believe that AT&T is either developing or subcontracting for an ISO stack. Good Luck, Tom
