Ok, I give -- I need some help in making a workable plan for getting through level 25 on the Amiga version of Arkanoid (I assume that the arcade version has a similar level, although I don't know if it the same number or truly identical). Level 25 is the one where there is a row of permanent (=gold) bricks in the middle of the screen and they're configured like this: ------------ -------------- | | | | | | | | | | | --------- | (in addition to the fact that the entry from the bottom into the two outer chambers is blocked by semi-permanent (= silver) blocks, and the exit from the center chamber up to the top (where you have to get rid of three rows of blocks) is also blocked by a row of silver blocks.) Normally I wouldn't bother you all with something silly like this, but this one is driving me NUTS. The screen vary in difficulty, to be sure, but this one is IMPASSABLE for me: I can go roaring up to this screen with piles of points and ALWAYS get wiped out. Then I get to play 20 games starting at this level until I, mostly at random and with a heavy dose of luck, manage to squeak to level 26. Then I can start working my way up again. Now, I ain't _all_ that great at this here game, but this is the ONLY level that has completely defied my even being able to figure out what I should be _trying_ to do. Is there a strategy for dealing with this level? (for example, does it matter which of the six bottommost silver bricks that you first punch through? Is there some "good angle" to work on to get the ball through the bottom chambers?). Any advice, consolation, pointers, etc, you might have will surely be appreciated.
