HELP! Is no-one listening any more? I asked this question some time ago, but no-one had anything to say except "me too!", so I'll ask it again, and maybe some kind person out there will take pity on me... Does anyone have the sources for UNIX Zork, or know where they may be obtained. If they are not public-domain, then could someone tell me. I'd prefer it if I could just mail a tape (with return postage) to somebody. If anyone can help, would they e-mail me? Please PLEASE *PLEASE* reply... (... while I'm still sane enough to act on any advice :-) Thanks (in anticipation), -- Hugh Grant ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UUCP: seismo!ukc!tcdmath!hugh PHONE: DUBLIN-772941x1983 Snail: Room 39.16, School of Mathematics, Trinity College, Dublin 2, IRELAND.

The reason you didn't get a response is that there ARE NO SOURCES for UNIX Zork. The PDP-11 implementation is a patched RT-11 binary. The VAX implementation is that same binary run in PDP-11 emulation mode. The RT-11 original was written in Fortran by "an anonymous DEC engineer" and submitted to DECUS, the DEC user's group. You might find something through them in their archives. You have to be a member to do so. -=- Andrew Klossner (decvax!tektronix!tekecs!andrew) [UUCP] (tekecs!andrew.tektronix@csnet-relay) [ARPA]
