Goodie!  Where can I get copies?  I found some documentation but it was
very old and definitely didn't match what I saw flying around on the
Ethernet.

The DNA functional specs are available from DEC. These are the DEC order
numbers on my copies (I think they are current):

AA-N149A-TC
AA-X440A-TK
AA-Y298A-TK
AA-X435A-TK
AA-X439A-TK
AA-K182A-TK
AA-X437A-TK
AA-X436A-TK

The first is the network arch. general description. The rest are functional
specs for various layers.
