Professional 350 personal computer CPU: PDP-11/23+ RAM: 512 Kbytes Hard Disk: 10 Megabyte winchester Floppy disks: dual 512 Kbyte, 5.25" OS: P/OS Toolkit (a port of RSX-11M+) Languages: Pascal, Fortran-77, Basic, C, Lisp, Macro-11 assembler Misc. SW: ProSpreadSheet, Supercomp20 spreadsheet, Word-11, Kermit, Core and low-level graphics libraries, some management package whose name I can't remember, etc. Price: $1800 or best offer This machine is an economical way to get PDP-11 applications running in your home/office. P/OS is RSX-11M+; version 2.? is installed, and version 3.0 is still in the boxes (I never got around to it!). The later version, I'm told, put back the multiuser accounting that had been removed from RSX the first time around. It's a real-time multitasking minicomputer OS, which is the forte of PDP-11s. It's performance class is that of IBM PC and clones. Upgrades available for it include: Venix (Unix System V); 11/73 CPU; more RAM; bigger hard disks; lab data aquisition board (IEEE 488 & parallel interface); telephone management board; etc. This particular machine is around 3 years old, has been on a maintenance contract continuously, and has been well cared for.
