Just thought I would share the outcome of our Micro VAX II search. We have been able to decide on the following configuration: Micro VAX II BA123 Chassis 16MB of memory 3 RD-54 fixed disk drives 4 DHV-11M VMS 4.6 TK-70 tape backup We placed the order a few days ago and were promissed delivery by December 31, 1987. Thank you much for all the help in answering our questions on the VAX. We are now trying to round out the system with a more powerful database manager than we are currently using. The current item is AutoPro Version 5.0. Which is ok if you do not want to do to many fancy reports, but wouldn't you know it, that is exactly what we ask the system to create. I am trying to locate a DBMS that is capable of reading the old RMS files that AutoPro has created. I have received some literature on FOCUS and will be checking it out.
