[comp.sys.dec] decnet mail problem

crouch@btnix.UUCP (Chris Rouch) (02/23/88)

I'm having problems mailing a stream_LF file across decnet. The file is
produced by an SQL query to an ORACLE database. I'm using the command

$       mail faultchk.zap r11a::crouch

and get the error message

%MAIL-E-SENDERR, error sending to user CROUCH at R11A
%RMS-W-RTB, 265 byte record too large for user's buffer

Both the vax I'm on and the one I'm sending too are running VMS 4.6 (although
the same problem occurs if I try and send to an ULTRIX machine). Has anybody
experienced similar problems or have any idea what it is I've got to modify to
get this to work. The full directory listing of the file is
