I would like to reiterate my plea for information on a source of plenum-rated ethernet transceivers. Although I did end up prompting an interesting discussion on plenum-rated baseband coax cable, I'm still looking for transceivers which can be deployed in air handling spaces. After reading spec sheets, calling sales droids, and talking to two distributors, I'm wondering if such a beast exists. As someone pointed out, its all to easy to find spec sheets that say "approved for installation in air handling spaces" and then find out that that doesn't mean "plenum rated".
