The firm I work for is thinking about moving from our current 16-bit RT and RSX realtime systems to the 32-bit world. Since we are currently a DEC shop, upper management wants to go to VAXELN as the next step. Unfortunately, no one here has ever used (or seen for that matter) ELN. We coders, unlike management, do not like the idea of buying sight unseen, so we would greatly appreciate it if users of ELN would let us know what they think of it. I emphasize the term users, no DEC sales pitches please, I've already heard those. I would especially like to hear from users who have made the migration from PDPs and from users who have used both ELN and some other 32-bit realtime system. Any realtime UNIX users (al la Masscomp)? Some people from our firm were scheduled to attend a VAXELN seminar later this month, but we were just told that the smeinar was canceled. Further, all VAXELN seminars have been canceled. Anybody know what happened? Rich Neitzel Rockwell International Golden, CO
