[comp.sys.dec] UNIBUS disk emulations

eric@spock.UUCP (Eric Volpe) (08/19/88)

Is there any such thing as a UNIBUS (for PDP11/34 18 bit) disk controller
that makes a physically small disk such as the RD series drives or a
generic disk, scsi, seagate, or whatever, appear to the processor as
one of the older, big monstrous DEC drives, like the RK05/6/7, RM02/3,
RP0?, etc... This is a home machine and I have already been through
one RK07 (which died) and I don't want to go through the process of
moving a 500 lb disk drive into my cellar again. Thanks!
