This seems like it ought to be a fairly straightforward issue, but I'll admit that at this point I'm baffled. I am using a VT320 terminal to access an application running on our university's IBM mainframe. The application accepts VT100 terminal input, and I have set up the VT320 as a VT100. The problem arises when the application (PHOENIX authoring system) needs the keyboard codes generated by keys labeled PFn and PAn (where "n" is a number). I am assuming these are keys labeled as such on a VT100, but I can find no reference in any of the documentation I have that shows what keys (or key combinations) are the VT320 (or VT220) equivalents. I do have the VT320 set to application keypad, and have tried what would seem to me the likely keys on the keypad area (since PF1 - PF4 are available also on the LK201 keyboard, and these seem to have the right effect in PHOENIX), for example, 7 8 9 - on the keypad would seem to be logical candidates for PF5 - PF8, but this is not the case. Would some kind soul enlighten me? Thanks in advance. Dean File UNC School of Medicine Chapel Hill
