My employer is looking at DEC's DECNET Services package to add our PC's to an existing network of VAXen. Our VAX computers run VMS 4.4-4.7a, and we use DECNET between them. What we would like to do is to hang all the PC's on a thin ethernet cable and hook that to our DELNI. This has only been spoken of with open doors for the past couple of days, so I would appreciate any comments from helpful people about DECNET services for the PC, or really any alternative that would let the PC net coexist peacefully with DECNET and allow access between the two. If anyone is actually running this sort of configuration and would put up with my asking more specific questions, please let me know, too.
