Hi all,
I was recently given a VT103 terminal with PDP/LSI-11 hardware
including 2 different CPU boards, 4 memory cards, a 4-port serial card,
and lots of OS manuals. The problem is that when I power up, all the
equipment does is beep about 6 times and the display shows a flashing
number six (6), nothing else. There is no response to the keyboard
and it appears to be locked in local mode.
Is there any hope for getting anything working? I would be content
just to having the terminal work, but certainly wouldn't mind (I don't
think) fixing the whole system. If you can provide any pointers, or
better yet, specific help, I would appreciate hearing from you. Please
