I apologize for posting this to the wrong group, but I wasn't able to generate any responses from comp.sys.dec.micro. I thought a larger audience might help. ----- Does anyone know of hardware level programming information for the DECmate-II ? With the DECUS version of OS/278 you can almost use this machine as a real computer (at least if you like a PDP-8), but Digital seems to provide almost no information for this task. I have the DM-II Technical Reference Manual, and although this is interesting, it has nothing to say about the RD5x controller, the APU board, or the firmware/slushware. Have I missed something ? Please note that I'm not asking to violate any copyrights. If someone can simply tell me the order numbers from the appropriate maunal(s) I'll be glad to pay for my own.
