[net.unix-wizards] Request for 4.1BSD drivers

From: Rich Wales <v.wales@ucla-locus>

Does anyone have one or more of the following device drivers for a VAX
11/780 or 11/750 running 4.1BSD UNIX?

(1) STC 800/1600/6250 tape drive, System Industries SBI/CMI interface.
(2) System Industries 9400 or 9900 disk controller, SBI/CMI interface.
(3) DEC Ethernet board, UNIBUS interface.

Please note that I am asking ONLY about SBI/CMI drivers for the tape
and disk drives; we already have UNIBUS drivers for these devices but
want to move them off the UNIBUS for efficiency.

You should be able to get the driver for the SI 9900 SBI/CMI controller
directly from System Industries. In case you're not aware, you can
probably use the standard 4.1 drivers, although the SI software will
give you better control over things like bad sector handling.
