We have a DEC 3100 work station, that I am trying to hook-up to a remote printer thru our inhouse Datakit network. The problem is that the network needs DTR to be asserted by the 3100. On our system DTR seems to be low (-5V) all the time, even when the port is active. (sends valid data on TXD) DEC has still not been able to resolve this simple problem! The field service folks weren't sure how the port was supposed to behave!! Does anyone have any ideas on this one. (The comm. port seems to work OK) Any help appreciated. Thanks. N.
