I've received for FREE an RL01 disk drive. I know. Its only 5 meg. But its better than nothing and I'd like to put it on my Q-bus system. So..... My first WANTED is for a RLV11 disk controller. My understanding is that this involves two quad wide boards. M8013 and M8014. Anyone have any of these laying around they'd like to get rid of?? The next WANTED is for some RL01 Disk Packs. CHEAP!!!! And while we're in the realm of disk controllers, does anyone have any "extra" controllers. Controllers that will work with EITHER ST-506 or the SA1000 interface used on some 8" drives are what I'm looking for. Thats one or the other, not both. Finally we get to the last WANTED. *UNIX*! for the PDP-11 CPU. Is there anything floating around that looks like UNIX thats worth bothering with? Or should I just spend the big bucks and go with a 80386 system? I'd really like to get a UNIX system going. I've got a fair amount of Q-bus parts laying around. So the big question is should I fill up a Q-bus system using the parts I've got, or sell it all and use the $$$'s to get the '386? Thanks-in-advance!
