we would like to be able to attach a (cheap) 9-track, 1600bpi tape deck to a vaxstation 3100 via the scsi port. there seem to be several vendors out there (eg qualstar) with scsi decks; anyone had any experience using one one of these on the vs3100 under ultrix (3.1)? is there any hope that dec's tmscp drivers (tk50, tu8x) will work? has anyone written their own driver? tia for any info... -- ------ don kossman, sei information technology, los angeles ...sun.com!suntzu!seila!don ...uunet!mahendo.jpl.nasa.gov!jplgodo!seila!don
