I've been trying to install Rokicki's dvips, version 3.9, on a PMAX and am getting nowhere fast. I picked it up from labrea.stanford.edu this morning. This version appears to assume a non-VAX byte ordering; has anyone patched this for the PMAX? I have an older version of dvips (0.93) that works just fine. I also tried w_dvi2ps from june.cs.washington.edu, and it too suffered from byte order problems. I want to continue to use Rokicki's dvips because it supports tpic and psfig and PK fonts. Any pointers to a working version of dvips gladly pursued.

Anyway, grab 391 from labrea. -tom
