I have seen the following annoying behavior on our DECstation 3100 (mono display) for a while now, and was wondering if other people have seen similar problems. It's not really dangerous, but it is annoying. Occasionally when scrolling characters, little bits of the last (?) row of the characters get left behind. This results in unsightly little horizontal lines left all over the place. This problem seems to be aggravated when using the COURIER fixed width fonts but I can't be positive. I have also seen this behavior on color 3100's. If I can better characterize it I will post follow up messages. -Castor Fu castor@fizzle.stanford.edu
