- Will DECNET work on VAX machines running different versions of VMS (4.5 and 5.2, for example)? - We have an Excelan DEUNA board which we intend to install on our 785. The board will enable us to cluster the 785 to two MicroVAX 3100s, but only if we use the VMS 5.2 and its clustering software. Will the 4.5 DECNET software play nicely with that DEUNA board? Yes but with least feature level restrictions if they are distant version.
