We have a DS3100 that we want to have 4 TK50 tape units connected for our software distribution group. The problem is that I haven't been able to locate in the manuals (yes I already tried to RTFM) on how to accomplish this. I'm familiar with kernel (SUN) manipulation for adding devices, but can't make any headway with adding to the Ultrix kernel. I'm thinking that the tape units need to be added elsewhere, but where? I've done the appropriate MAKEDEVs for the units and have the dip switches set accordingly, but no go. It only recognizes the first drive.
