Judging from the past month's traffic, I would say that "net.unix"
has become entirely redundant. The only traffic which appears there
is cross-postings from net.unix-wizards.
Given this, it is probably time to remove it from the list of active
newsgroups. Savings is small, perhaps: no traffic reduction, but the
effort of each computer to cross-link article + size of newsgroup name
in header will add up.
I'll collect opinions (via e-mail please!) and report any results in a
couple of weeks or so.
