Is there any way (including firmware upgrade/hack) to get the control chars to autorepeat on a DEC VT100 terminal? Or on a VT102? -- Carl Mascott cmascott@world.std.com {uunet, xylogics}!world!cmascott

I don't have any vt100's lying about anymore, but some terminals that don't let special function keys repeat - return, tab, lf and so on will let a normal control/x sequence repeat. In this case just remember that tab is really a control/i in disguise and so on. I don't remember if vt100's act like this...
