[comp.sys.dec] DS3100 SCSI Disks

fshevlin@swift.cs.tcd.ie (06/29/90)

Hello,
I'm looking for a SCSI disk for our DecStation 3100. I remember
that there was a discussion some time ago about what makes and
models work without problems with the DS3100.

Does anybody have any advice regarding disks, i.e. ones to
avoid or ones that have been successfully used with this machine ?

						Thanks,
						Fergal

HP makes and sells 5 1/4" SCSI disks through resellers. As of several months
ago, there were 300+ and 600+ capacity units. They are very price-competitive
and come with 5-year warranties. We use several of the higher-capacity units
on several of our DS 3100's.
