I have added 8 meg to my DECsystem 3100 (which is functionally equivalent to a DECstation 3100, without a monitor). The power up test recognizes 16 meg; however, when I boot Ultrix, only 12 meg shows up. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Make certain that in your configuration file that there is a line something like: physmem 16 Then rebuild your kernel, move it to / , then reboot. It will now accurately reflect the memory you have available.
