Good day,
I'm posting on behalf of a member of our department, who has been
asked about the availablility of outbound FAX services from our computer
systems. As you might guess from the cross-postings, we run VAX/VMS
as well as MIPS-based UNIX. The UWO campus backbone network is TCP/IP
based, so a solution involving IP would certainly be welcome, provided
there exist adequate controls for charging the appropriate
We are interested in any products that would allow at least ASCII text,
and perhaps postscript documents to be FAXed to other sites. Please send
any references you are aware of to myself - I don't read all the groups I'm
