I'm posting this for a friend without net access. He is having difficulty with a software package from a firm called "Z-Tech" or "Z Tech". Their last known location was St. Petersburg, Florida, however, he has been unable to contact the company or even find anyone who knows their current disposition. The package in question is called "X Convert" and provides a number of routines that allow communications between VAX/VMS and IBM mainframe operating systems. I presume this is in the order of ASCII<->EBCDIC and various protocol conversions. He is extremely anxious to talk with anyone from "Z Tech" or any ex-employees of the company, or anyone with knowledge of the software package in question. In short, he needs help and needs it fast!
