From a C program, I need to find out the unique host identifier of the VAX system that VMS is running on. On Unix I would use the gethostid() function, but I am not having luck finding a similar function on VAX/VMS. Does anyone know what the equivalent VAX/VMS function is? On Unix I can issue the hostid command which will print out the unique host identifier, what is the equivalent on VMS? Bancroft Scott
