Our problem:
we have a ds5000/200 with the original firmware and a second one
with the revised firmware (V5.3c). While we can boot without
any problems from a Hitachi DK515C from the old firmware
we cannot bring up the system with the new firmware using the command
boot 5/rz1/vmunix -a
The system with the new firmware accesses the disk twice before
it gives up telling
can't open ultrixboot
KN02-AA V5.3C (PC: 0xbfc01b68, SP: 0xa000f574)
We used exactly the same disk (with Ultrix 4.0) on the DS 5000/200
with the older firmware level.
Some data from our configuration:

HELP!!
Our local DEC people want to upgrade the firmware of our running
system too!! Has something changed in connection with ultrixboot?
Any ideas?
