[comp.sys.dec] reading 3.5inch PDP-11

Hello,
  I need to read 3.5inch disks, written on a PDP-11 using the RT-11
  operating system, on an IBM-clone (MS-Dos).

  I know it's doable, since the Norton Utilities Sector Editor can
  read the disk.

  Has anyone do this?  Can you point me towards any Code/programs
  that do this?  

  Lacking that, any pointers to writing my own ('C') program to
  read these disks?
