I need some information on the experiences that other sites may have had with equipment from "Contemporary Cybernetics Group" of Newport News, VA. We are considering their CY-8200-Q81 8mm cartridge tape system with the CY-8200-C data compression option. This should give us about 9 gigabytes of data storage per cartridge. We are also considering their UK-1.2GB disk drive with an unformatted capacity of 1.2 gigabytes. The prices offered on these units are quite attractive, but we have no knowledge of the company or its reputation for quality, service, etc. Any information that anyone can furnish will be most welcome.
