I'm looking for a good choice for a third-party disk to use as the boot device
for a DECstation 5000. I have an opportunity to get a reasonably good deal on
a Wren V, but I don't recall reading anything on the net about the usability of
these disks on a DECstation.
Does anyone know if the Wren V works ok as the system disk on a DECstation
under Ultrix 4.0 or 4.1?
Does anyone know if there are any changes in 4.1 that make it easier/harder to
use a third-party disk as the boot device?
Generic advice on good choices for disks are also welcome, as is instructions
on how to make this all work as the boot device.
