[comp.sys.dec] BSD library for DECstation?

BCD Math package for MIPS processors :

I'm in urgent need for a BCD math package for a DECstation 3100
written in either ANSI C or preferably Mips assembler - has
anybody heard of such a thing and/or know where I can get it ?

It should basically be able to do the following things:

add, sub, div, mul, cmp, neq, sqrt, round, trunc, frac, pow, log,
ln, convert bcd to and from double, signed short, unsigned short,
signed long, unsigned long etc. etc. and convert to and from ascii
	string.

I don't care much what the underlying format of the BCD numbers are,
as long as the package as such has a sufficient precision to use in
an accounting system. (You know, accountants are picky about numbers !).

If no one knows about such a gizmo - can anyone elaborate on the feasabi-
lity of using 64 or 128 bit scaled integers to solve the problem.

Thanks...

B^)
