[comp.sys.dec] Can't display transientShell from R4 to DECWindows

I have an application which pops up dialog boxes.  These dialog boxes are
transient shell widgets.  They are not displayed if the application is compiled
on an X11R4 machine and displayed on a 3100 running Ultrix 4.0 or a
VAXstations running
VMS 5.3.  The dialog boxes display if compiled on the DEC systems.  The
dialog boxes
are popped up on other vendors X11R3 servers.  If I use twm on the
Ultrix machine the
dialog boxes popup okay.  I would like to make sure this works with
dxwm!  Any ideas...
