For Sale: Vax 11/750 system consisting of the following: Vax 11/750 CPU with floating point accelerator 2 Meg DEC memory 4 Meg Emulex memory VMS license RL02 disk drive RA81 disk drive RA80 disk drive DZ11 8-line terminal board (4) Emulex DMF32 clones -- total of 32 terminal lines DF03 modem LA120 console (decwriter) Unibus expansion box and associated stuff DEC DEUNA ethernet interface (in expansion box) Digi-Data 1/2'' tape drive, 800/1600 bpi (model 1740) Emulex controller for tape drive DMC11 The DMC11 and the tape drive do not work. We have not had the need to use them (we do dumps across the ethernet to a 6250 bpi drive) so we haven't even tried to find out what is wrong with them. I have no reason to believe that tape controller is broken, but i obviously can't test it. All equipment except the Emulex memory, DMF32 clones, tape drive and controller, and DMC11 have been on DEC maintenance their entire lifetime. Both the RA80 and RA81 had their HDA's replaced at the end of August 1986. The RA81 was a Field Change Order, and the RA80 decided to die that same week. The system was installed in October 1983 and has been running since. It is currently running BSD 4.3 Unix. It will become available towards the end of January or the start of February 1988.
