[comp.sys.dec] DECnet programming on PC

hst@mh_co2.mh.nl (Klaas Hemstra) (03/12/91)

I have a problem with DECnet programming using PCSA (Version 3).
There is an unsupported library which i use.
I have a PC program which defines itsself as an OBJECT. From a VAX i
call this program (works fine).
The resulting DECnet link is kept alive for many days (forever if it's
necessary!).
This DECnet links is giving us problems: It seems to be broken when the
traffic on ethernet is heavy and it is used frequently.
Another problem is that the program which is using the DECnet link will
hang itsself sometimes when there is a lot of traffic on ethernet.

Is there anybody who has encountered simular problems with PCSA DECnet
programming ?
