I am posting this for a friend of mine who doesn't have access to USENET, so please respond directly to mlevin@jade.tufts.edu. I am Running Ultrix 4.1 on a VaxStation II/RC workstation, with all the DecWindows stuff. In DECWrite, the Compose-Character key of the keyboard is supposed to serve as the ALT key (and, on my workstation before I updated to Ultrix 4.1, it did so). But now, when I press the compose-character key, the compose-character light lights up on the keyboard, and it doesn't work as ALT for DecWrite. Is there some sort of setup (on DecWrite, or maybe on DECTerm) that allows one to modify the action of the compose-character key? Thanks in advance. Mike Levin (mlevin@jade.tufts.edu)
