[comp.sys.dec] 11/44's at Home. Seeking Same.

mcgee@nic.csu.net (03/25/91)

Through a rather well-timed ad in a computer magazine, I am now co-owner of a
complete 11/44, which sits in my living room, waiting for the Primary
Application of Power Test ("PAP Test") which should happen sometime
this evening. My question: Are there any other 'Dec Junkies' who have
minis of this size running at home? I'm seeking to swap info such as
power concerns, environmental questions, etc. You know, all the really
useful things, like how to explain dual cabinets in your living room to
your neighbors.

Does a '750 count? I got one'a 'dem... Easy to explain, very
hard to pay for the electricity, though! 8-(

Yeah, me too. Nothing like vmunix booting with configuration messages
for 4 printers and none connected! Such a tease...
