Does anyone have an LK250-PA/CAU keyboard? This is the DEC Gold key keyboard replacement for the IBM PC/AT or PS/2 keyboard. I'm thinking of ordering one, because I assume its keypad configuration is identical to a VT100's (i.e. the top 4 keys on the keypad are all useable unlike a PC where the top left key is Num Lock). Is my assumption correct? And, do you need a special driver for the keyboard or does it just rearrange the keys but keep the same scan codes? Any comments/experience with the keyboard would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know about the keyboard, but I have a utility that will work on 99% of PCs and allow the NUM LOCK key to be used as GOLD. You still have the problem with the double height + key, but it's a lot cheaper.... I am about to post/upload a new version of this. It'll be called GOLD20. Look out for it in the PC newsgroups and eventually on SIMTEL20. -------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Bob Eager | University of Kent at Canterbury | +44 227 764000 ext 7589 -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------
