I am posting this for a friend of mine who doesn't have access to USENET, so please respond directly to mlevin@jade.tufts.edu. I use kermit to log onto a VMS system via a modem, from my Ultrix 4.1 workstation. Everything works fine, but when I try to use EDT in screen mode, it apparently sends up some escape codes which shorten my DecTerm window and set it to the huge font. Is there any way to disable EDT from messing with my window? If not, is there an escape sequence that would tell the DecTerm window to execute the "Use Last saved settings" function (found under the Customize menu for DecTerm)? Perhaps I can make a DCL wraparound for EDT that would print out that escape sequence when I exited EDT). Any other ideas on getting EDT to leave my window alone (preferably), or how to have it set back automatically when EDT is done? Thanks in advance. Mike Levin (mlevin@jade.tufts.edu)
