[comp.sys.dec] PDP-11/23+ system for sale!

kalisiak@acsu.buffalo.edu (christophe m kalisiak) (03/31/91)

I have a PDP-11/23+ based system for sale.

The configuration is:

22-bit cpu box, 8 slots
11/23+ CPU
1mb memory
Bootstrap for all (that I'm aware of) DEC drives on multifunction board,
including the RL02's, RX02, and the RX50 mentioned below.
2 serial ports on multifunction board, with cab kit.
1 additional serial port with 25' cable.
1 Data Systems Design Mod. 880 subsystem -- 30mb drive emulating 3 RL02's,
one SSDD 8" floppy drive emulating an RX02.
1 RQDX1 + RX50 + power supply; 5-1/4" floppy drive, with software to copy
files between IBM-AT 1.2mb floppy drive and the RX50.

I have a few more boards I can throw in to give it more memory (.5mb),
and a couple more serial ports. I also have a CIpher M891-II 9-track
tape drive and Emulex TC03 controller, if you are feeling crazy.

As far as software goes, I have RSX-11M V4.something. I'll have to
check, but it is at least V4.2D. If you really want, I have RSX-11M
V4.2D, V4.4, V4.5, and V4.6 which I could sysgen into the system,
but it would make my life a lot easier to take what is already on
the drive.
I also have most of a complete RSX-11M V4.2 doc set, which will
be included in the package.

Of course, the system is guaranteed to work (unless UPS plays football
with the components...).

I am hoping to get somewhere in the $500-$600 range, and I would like
to finalize the details soon, as I need the money to buy a camera outfit.

If you are interested, but think the range is too high, please let me
know anyway. Depending on other offers, I may be open to bargaining.

Thanks,
Chris Kalisiak
