Since the problem is mail not working right sending him mail won't help much. Specifically, on a VAX 11/785 running VMS 5.2, DECnet and Wollongong TCP/IP version 5.1.01 connected to the Internet via a Cisco router VMS mail doesn't receive messages from WINS mail. Outgoing mail works correctly but mail into the VMS system is never delivered. When the MAILER (Wollongong utility) tries to extract mail from the mail.mai file in the MAILER account there are no messages. All protections, ACL's, quotas and privileges are set per the Wollongong installation manual. So far Wollongong support has not been able to help out.
