It has been suggested to me that I look into getting an MSV11-JB. Well, I looked in a few magazines and called a couple people, and nobody seems to carry it. Sure there are -JE's, but the closest I found was the -JC for $bazillions. I looked for third party, but all I found were four meg boards. (I only want one more to round out my 11M/PLUS system...) One of the people I spoke with suggested that I try populating my 1mb board to a 2mb board. I thought about it for a minute, and looked at the board in my hand. Lo and behold, the etch says it was designed to be a 2mb board. So, my question is, does anyone have any experience/printsets with/of the -JB and -JC who could tell me what (other than the amount of 256k x 1's on the board) exactly is the difference? I tried to make a single 256kb Unibus board from two 128kb boards a while back, but I realized that there were a couple different PROMs needed to tell the board that there was 256kb. So, is the difference between the two just the lack of memory, or are the PROMs the same too? In looking at the board, the only thing that _looks_ like is missing are the memories.
