We have installed Wordperfect OFFICE vers. 3.01 on a DEC PCSA local network. The WPO scedular might be very attractive however we cannot get it work correctly. After starting the scedular it is busy sometimes for minutes to even a quarter of an hour producing lots of files in it's default directory. When the disk is full it crashes, When the PC is rebooted (Ctrl+Alt+Del, because you can't stop the proces, I find a directory full with small files. When the scedular can succeed at the end, it has removed these files. Exit of the program and starting again.. no problem. it's fast. It seems the longer the scedular has not been used, the longer it takes before the scedular takes to suucceed with it's starting process Any way we can't offer this to our users. Version info: Wordperfect Office 3.00 and 3.01 (the latest revision) PCSA versions 3.1 (different versions) and 4.0, even on Pathworks for OS/2 (MS LANmgr 2.0) All combinations the same problem. We asked DEC and Wordperfect for a solution, no reaction untill today The problem already occurs since the start of our implementation and users are putting increasingly pressure on us to come up with a solution Who can give us any suggestion to solve this problem. It looks like it's a conflict between the DEC PCSA LAN stack in the PC and the WPO scedular program. On other LANs the program works fine.
